Din6925 All Metal Prevailing Torque Hex Nut with Flange

Unlike the nylon insert locking nut, DIN 6925 adopts a full metal sealing design. By processing the threads on the top of the nut into non-circular shapes (elliptical or triangular), a constant radial locking torque is generated when the nut is screwed into the bolt. This structure enables it to maintain stable locking performance in extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C to +300°C. Its high-temperature resistance is much better than that of nylon anti-loosening nuts [citation: 2].

Compared to disposable nylon nuts or certain destructive locking methods, the DIN 6925 all-metal locking nuts can maintain the specified locking torque even after multiple disassemblies. They can typically be reused 5-10 times, offering better economic benefits.

Optional anti-slip flange: For some specifications, the flange surface is engraved with serrations. When tightened, it embeds into the surface of the workpiece, providing additional friction for anti-loosening, suitable for situations with harder surfaces or those requiring stronger anti-loosening.

The locking is achieved through the friction force generated by the elastic deformation of the metal itself. Even under high-frequency vibration and impact loads, it can effectively prevent the nut from loosening. Suitable for applications requiring high reliability connections.

The flange surface and the main body of the nut are integrally formed, increasing the contact area with the connecting component, effectively distributing the pressure and protecting the surface of the workpiece. It can replace the combination of "nut + flat washer", simplifying the assembly process.
